Daisy E. Ashbaugh, 96, of Clarion passed away Monday, September 12, 2016.

Born October 14, 1919 she was the daughter of Grover and Hattie Ashbaugh.

Daisy graduated from Ashland High School.  She worked as secretary for Columbia Gas.

Daisy is survived by two nephews Justin Gaber of Pittsburgh and Kyle Gaber of Utica and a niece Tracy Johnston of South Carolina.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Connie Spangler and a brother John Ashbaugh and a sister Connie Spangler.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 p.m. Saturday September 17, 2016 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home 504 East Penn Ave., Knox.  Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Karen Parsh officiating.  Interment will follow at Phipps Cemetery in Kossuth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Phipps Cemetery, 945 Bittersweet Road, Knox PA, 16232
