Donald J. Bundy, 55, of Shippenville passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital.

Born April 16, 1962, in Clarion, Don was the son of Milford and Barbara Bundy.

On December 23, 2003 Don married Wendy Durlin Bundy who survives.

Don was a graduate of Keystone High School.  He worked construction for several companies over the years and currently worked in the maintenance dept. of the Park Inn in Clarion.

Don was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at the Berlin-Bowser Post 720 for 17 years where he served as Commander, Chaplin and Historian.  He was also a member of the Clarion County Rod and Gun and the Fryburg Sportsman Club.

Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, spending time with his family, watching the Steelers and Penguins games and being around people.  He loved to volunteer in community functions such as the Relay for Life, March of Dimes and cooking at the Sons of the Legion Sunday morning breakfasts.

Don is survived by three children Cody Kaufman of Savannah, GA, Chelsea Bundy of Chicago, IL, and Tristan Bundy of Shippenville; two sisters Shirley McBride of Shippenville and Heidi Bundy of Hawthorn and two brothers Dennis Bundy of Shippenville and Jeff Bundy of Rimersburg and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Don was preceded in death by a brother Dan Bundy and a sister Susan Bundy.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 5, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday June 6 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc, 504 East Penn Ave., Knox.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Fred Whitney officiating.

In lieu flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital 150 Doctors Ln # 1, Clarion, PA 16214 or the Berlin-Bowser American Legion Post 720, 70 Veterans Rd, Knox PA 16232.
