Joseph F. Siebauer Jr., 80, of Knox died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Born March 27, 1936, in Pittsburgh Joseph was the son of Joseph Sr. and Catherine Siebauer.

Joseph served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.  He was a plank owner (served on the first crew) of the USS Forrestal (CV-59).  After serving in the Navy he worked for RCA Electronics and the United States Post Office in Pittsburgh.

Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing, restoring old furniture, cutting wood, traveling and socializing with friends.  He was member of the Knox Lions Club, the American Legion Post 720, Clarion County Rod & Gun Club and the Fairhaven Beneficial Association in Pittsburgh.

Joseph was married to Zahira I. Siebauer who preceded him in death in 2005.  On August 6, 2011 he married Diana Rex-Siebauer who survives.

Along with his wife Joseph is survived by seven children Arlene (Ricky) Baker of Midland TX, Carl (Kathy) Siebauer of Erie, Shirley Siebauer, Michael (Cindy) Siebauer,  Leshia McGraw all of Pittsburgh, Kathleen Nirschel of St. Pete Beach, FL and Shelly Taylor of Knox, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister Allie Coffy of Shippenville.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn Ave, Knox PA 16232, and from 10 to 11 am Monday at the St. Mark’s of Monroe United Church of Christ, 131 Monroe Church Road, Knox.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday at the church with Pastor Nancy Dunmire of St. Mark’s UCC officiating.

The American Legion Post 720 of Knox will perform full military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made in St. Mark’s UCC, PO Box 637, Knox PA 16232, Charitable Deeds, 260 High Point Rd, Knox PA 16232 or Immaculate Conception Church, 720 Liberty St, Clarion PA 16214.
