Leon “Butch” Wolfgong, 69, of Shippenville passed away at his companion, Ann Irwin’s home in Tionesta on September 1, 2017 following an extended illness.

Born February 13, 1948 in Dubois, Butch was the son of William and Pearl Wolfgong.

Butch operated heavy equipment for C & k Coal then worked at the OI Glass Plant in Clarion.

Butch is survived by his companion Ann Irwin, Ann’s children and grandchildren, two sisters in law Joanne Wolfgong and Earlene Wolfgong, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Chuck and John Wolfgong.

Private service were held by the family.
