Marguerite Elizabeth Webb, 101, of Knox, passed away June 11, 2017, at the Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident of for a year. 

Born May 21, 1916, in Crawford Co., she was the daughter of Philip and Helen May (Jackson) Wescott.

She was married Jan. 2, 1939, to Joseph Newton Webb who preceded her in death on June 27, 2002.

Marguerite worked for many years at the Jordan Hardware store in Knox, PA and was a member of the Knox Methodist Church and Clarion Eastern Star. 

Surviving are a daughter Betty (Robert) Macdonald of Hays, KS and son Tom (Patricia) Webb of Muncie, IN; four grandchildren, Ian (Brook) Macdonald, Olathe, KS; Andrew Webb, Woodstock, IL; Matthew Webb, Las Vegas, NV.; Carrie (David) Irwin, Denver, CO; four great-grandchildren Seth and Ashlyn Macdonald, Olathe, KS; Aiden and Alidia Irwin, Denver, CO., plus many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Samuel Webb and daughter-in-law Marjorie (Trill) Webb.

At Marguerite’s request there will be no services.  Interment was held at the Trinity E.C. Cemetery in Kossuth.
