Sharon L. Cochran

April 18, 1955 ~ September 11, 2016 (age 61) 61 Years Old

Sharon L. Cochran, 61, of Emlenton passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 in the Clarion Hospital surrounded by family.

Born April 18, 1955, in Grove City, she was the daughter of LaRue and Edith Davis.

Sharon worked at Arbys and Unimart and was a fulltime stay at home mom.

Sharon’s most favorite thing to do was be with her husband of 41 years.  They were like no other and everyone admired their love.  Crafting and making things for others were her specialty.  Whether it is sewing, crocheting or craft sales she was always making something.  Daises and ladybugs were her lucky charms and she had many of them.  She loved her dogs Friday and Maymay who followed her everywhere.  She also enjoyed bingo and had a special place in her heart for her Bingo Buddies and her team at the Clarion Cancer Center.  Sharon spent her life raising her children, her grandchildren and other people’s children.

On November 29, 1975 Sharon married Kerry Cochran

Along with her husband and father Sharon is survived by her children Misty (Donald) Boros of Baden, Janie (Brent) Bowser of Sligo, Robert Ashbaugh of Knox, grandchildren Payton Boros, Ashton Bowser, Drake Bowser and Trenton Bowser.  Also surviving are her siblings Bonnie, Leland, Randy, Arrand, Liz, Norman, Dianne, Dianna, Laura, Joey, Nolan, Raymond, Todd, Jenifer, Jeff, Armand, LeeLee, Butch and Juanita.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, a sister Pamela Blair and a brother Garfield Davis.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday September 14, 2016 at the Van United Methodist Church, 8540 Rt 322, Cranberry.  Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the church with pastor James Kimmel officiating.  Interment will be at the Loop Cemetery.  The McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home, 504 East Penn Ave, Knox, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital 150 Doctors Ln # 1, Clarion, PA 16214.
