Dennis Woofter Obituary

Dennis B. Woofter, 63, of Sligo, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Clarion Hospital.

Born December 24, 1954, in McKeesport, Dennis was the son of Charles and Harriette Woofter.

Dennis was always smiling. He enjoyed riding on his golf cart, listening to oldies music, going out to eat and fishing. He also loved children and animals and collecting toy trucks.

Dennis is survived by his brother Dan Woofter and his wife Cheryl of Millington TN, a niece Harriette Owens, a nephew Daniel Woofter and his aunt Mary Boller and her husband George of Portland OR.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his grandma Mary Ruth Sickles.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm Friday, March 23, 2018 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn St., Knox. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Sue Montgomery officiating.
