Patricia A. Weaver

Patricia A. Weaver, 83, of Oakmont, formerly of Ninevah, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont.

Born December 19, 1935, in Grove City, Patricia was the daughter of the late Carroll and Earla Rossman Weaver.

Patricia attended Ashland Grade School and graduated from White Memorial High School in Knox in 1954.  She spent her last several years in Oakmont, lived in Alexandria VA for several years but spent most of her life in Ninevah.  She worked at a floral store in Clarion, SoFro Fabric store in Virginia and taught kindergarten at Calvary Road Christian School in Virginia.

On June 11, 1954, Patricia married Gerald Weaver who survives.

Patricia enjoyed decorating and design and she loved growing and arranging flowers.  She was a lifelong member of the Grace E.C. Church in Ninevah, a member and former president of the Grace Ladies Aide, leader of the Junior Missions, a Sunday School teacher, leader in Youth for Christ and a former PTA President at Ashland Elementary School.

Along with her husband Patricia is survived by her three children Christine Weaver of Coraopolis, Linda (Dan) Moore of Edgewood, KY and Carey (Kim) Weaver of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren Alaina Moore of Edgewood, KY, Nicole Weaver and Sara Weaver both of Pittsburgh and her siblings Donna Hogue of Knox, Daniel (Margaret) Weaver of Knox, Mark (Jan) Weaver of Knox and Kaye Finch of Clarion.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in law Raymond Hogue.

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Grace EC Church, 2561 Grace Church Road, Knox.  Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday in the church with Pastor John Friedlund of Grace EC Church officiating

Interment will take place at Starr Cemetery.
