Pearl R. Manross, 81 of Clarview Nursing Home, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2017.

Born January 20, 1936, in Turkey City, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel Ettabelle Rossey Deloe.

Pearl was married to Wayne A Manross on June 21, 1951 in Oil City.  They celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing on August 9, 2008.

Pearl was a homemaker. In her early years she enjoyed camping, crocheting and her beloved Chihuahuas and Yorkies.  She was willing to help anyone in need and she was happiest when she was spending time with her children, grand children and great grand children.

Pearl was of the Protestant Faith.

Pearl is survived by ten children Wayne (Jane) Manross Jr. of Lakeland, FL, John Manross of Georgia, Robert (Doris) Manross of Knox, Patricia (Larry) Silvis of Venus, Nancy Zacherl of Clarion, Wilma Curtis of Meadville, James (Weaktha) Manross of Clarksville TN, Cindy (Terry) Clover of Dallas, GA, Judy (John) Sharrar of Sandy Lake, and Angela (Dusty) Niederriter of Fryburg, 28 grand children, nine great grand children and two great great grand children.  Also surviving are two sisters and one brother Harry (Laura) Deloe of Faye, NY, Bertha (Earl) Ross of Brookville, Emma Lipton of Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents Pearl was preceded in death by six brothers Louie “Duke” Deloe, William Deloe, Howard Floyd Deloe, Clyde Deloe, Edward Deloe, and Baby boy Deloe, one sister Betty Jane Watson, four grandchildren T.J Manross, Amy Sharrar, Jerry Lee Manross and John Wayne Manross.

According to Pearl’s wishes there will be no viewing or visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Clarview Nursing and Rehab Center 14663 Rt 68, Sligo PA, 16255.
