Thomas Lowrie, 67, of Cranberry passed away unexpectedly while working outside his home one July 1, 2018.
Born April 9, 1951 in Franklin, he was the son of Adelmer & Marjorie Lowrie.
On January 5, 1991 Thomas married Lisa Chambers who survives.
Thomas enjoyed camping, fishing, anything that had a motor and spending time with his family.
Thomas worked as a welder for Conair.
Along with his wife Thomas is survived by his children Kristina (Randy) Mong of Oil City, Brandi (Donny) Hoover of Sugar Creek, Kenny (Denise) Lowrie of Cranberry and Izabella Lowrie of Cranberry; his grandchildren Katrina Hurrelbrink, Kristian Rowland, Reileigh Rowland, Austin Mong, Aiden Mong, Aubrey Mong, Rylan Mong, Isaiah Hoover, Shyann Hoover and Summer Lowrie. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters Marjorie (Dennis) Heffern of York, Robert (Patricia) Lowrie of Venus, Donna (David) Snyder of Franklin, Kenneth Lowrie Sr. of Franklin and Barb (Jim) Dickinson of Oil City and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Melissa Beach and his mother and father in law Wilfred and Donna Chambers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday July 5, and 10 to 11 am Friday, July 6 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn St., Knox. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday in the funeral home with Thomas’s brother in law Jim Walker officiating.
Thomas was known for always wearing his jeans and favorite T-shirts and requested that anyone coming to his viewing or funeral to be dressed in their jeans and favorite T-shirt.
Interment will follow at the Nickleville Cemetery.
