Arthur William Runyan, 63, of Knox, passed away at his home on December 25, 2021, following an extended illness.
Born Mach 23, 1958, in Brockway, he was the son of the late Jim Shultz and Elizabeth Runyan.
Art went to Brockway High School and then drove truck for 37 years. He loved traveling all over the country.
Art enjoyed life. He liked to garden, do yard work and talking to people, it didn’t matter who it was he could have a conversation with them. He enjoyed sports, cars and guitars but fishing was his favorite past time. Art loved his pitbulls and spending time with his girls and grandkids.
Art is survived by his son Joshua Runyan of Sharon, his brothers Jimmy Shultz of Sharon, Bill Johnson of Hazen and Mike Huffman of Brockway, his grandchildren Michael McDade, Andew Hunter and Annalise Hunter all of Knox and his cousins Jamie and Julie McKinney who he lived with, loved dearly and looked after as his own children. There was a special place in his heart for them.
Art’s parents and grandparents preceded him in death.
A memorial service for Art will be held at a later date.
