Bernadine Yvonne (Renninger) Rex

Bernadine Yvonne Rex, 85, of Shippenville, passed away at her home on Friday, September 12, 2025 with her family at her side.

Born January 6, 1940, in Shippenville, Bernadine was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn Renninger.

On February 1, 1965, Bernadine married James J. Rex who survives.

Bernadine worked in home health care and at O&I Glass Plant.  She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and playing bingo and cards.

Along with her husband Bernadine is survived by her children John (Tina) Rex of Jamestown, PA, Brenda Fleeger of Knox, Mary (John) Crosby of Shippenville and Amy (Kevin) Parks of Knox; her grandchildren Heather (Jimmy) Taraczkozy of Jamestown, PA, Wendy (Brian) Morrison of Knox, Erin (Levi) Day of Jamestown, PA, Christina (Jonathan) Myers of Sligo, Trenton Messina of Shippenville, Sasha Messina of Sharon, Ethan Fleeger of Shippenville, Austin Parks of Shippenville along with 14 great grandchildren.

Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents a son James Rex, a grandson Tyler Parks, a great grandson Preston Taraczkozy and her siblings

Per Bernadine’s wishes there are no services planned for at this time.
