Carolyn Fay Master, 86, of Clarion, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Clarion Hospital.
Born July 31, 1933 Fay was the daughter of the late Paul Master and Mary Salser.
Fay graduated from White Memorial High School in 1951. She worked at the Owens Illinois glass plant in Clarion.
Fay loved to watch TV, listen to Christian music, play bingo, go to church activities and look at cookbooks. She always enjoyed visits and pictures from her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Fay is survived by four brothers, Earl Salser and his wife Rhonda of Knox, Teddy Salser of Brockway, Carl Salser of Knox and John “Jack” Master and his wife, Deborah, of Cranberry; a sister, Lorna “Sue” Beichner of Shippenville a brother in law Daniel Pendergrass, of Bradenton Fla and many nieces and nephews.
Fay was preceded in death by her father and step mother Paul and Emma Master and her mother and step father Homer and Mary Salser; two sisters, Judy Prevish and Kathy Pendergrass, two brothers Donald Ray Salser and Paul Douglas Master and a sister in law Pat Salser.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 Am Saturday at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn St., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday in the funeral home with pastor Wade Barto of the Knox United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Knox Union Cemetery in Knox.
