Charles F. Berlin Jr., 92, of Knox passed away at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehab Center on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 following an extended illness.
Born January 14, 1933, in Salem Township, Charles was the son of the late Charles and Ida Berlin.
Charles went to school at the Salem School then worked at Knox Glass until his retirement.
On June 23, 1962, Charles married Minnie “Peggy” Smith who survives.
Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in the garage and spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his wife Peggy, a daughter Kimberly Hunsberger and her husband Frank of Emlenton; two grandsons Nicholas and Travis Hunsberger of Emlenton and a sister Alma Sheesley of Emlenton
Along with his parents Charles was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Berlin and a brother in law Harry Sheesley.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 am from 1 to 3 pm Saturday February 8, at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc, 504 East Penn Ave, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Tack officiating.
Interment will take place at Monroe Community Cemetery in Monroe
