Cindy Reed McBride, 60, of Venus, passed away peacefully at home on Monday January 9, 2023.

Born on October 9, 1962, in Clarion, Cindy was the daughter of Nancy Brenneman Reed and the late Robert Reed Sr.

Cindy graduated from Keystone High School.  She was a waitress at several area restaurants including Gringos, the Carriage Inn, Jade Garden and Kings Restaurant, more recently she worked at Peebles in Clarion.

On September 28, 1985, Cindy married Mike McBride who preceded her in death in 2015.

Cindy was a member of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church.  She was a jokester and was the life of the party at the family gatherings.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and cats and loved to watch the Steeler and Penguins.

Along with her mother Cindy is survived by her daughters Jessie McBride of Venus and Jamie (Ken) Curfman of Oil City; a granddaughter Isabella Curfman and her siblings Robert Reed Jr., David Reed, Mark Reed and Wendy Reed Greenawalt.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband and father.
