Colene G. (Shick) Bish

Colene G. Bish, 85, of Knox passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Shippenville Health Care and Rehab Center.

Born July 1, 1938, in Hawthorn, Colene was the daughter of the late William and Rosie Shick.

On April 15, 1955, Colene married Jack Bish Sr. who preceded her in death in 2014.

Colene enjoyed playing cards, camping, spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Colene is survived by a son Jack Bish Jr. of Knox, four grandchildren: Mike (Jen) Bish of Huntersville, N.C., Taylor Liebrum and Elisabeth Liebrum of Marble; and two great-grandchildren, Sidney and Jack Bish.

Colene was preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents William and Rosie, her daughter Cathy Lieberum and her siblings William “Turney” Shick, Peg Doverspike and Wanda Hanlon.

The family will received friends from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday October 26, 2023 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc, 504 East Penn Ave, Knox.  Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Wade Barto of the Knox United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will be held at the Knox Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Colene’s honor to the Knox United Methodist Church, the Knox Volunteer Fire Co, the Knox Lions or Charitable Deeds and Services.
