Jackquline "Jackie" McCann Obituary

Jackquline C. McCann, 72 of Knox, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Shippenville Health & Rehab Center following an extended illness.


Born on November 29, 1952, in Flemington, NJ, Jackie was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Emery.


Jackie is survived by her son Cory Sudden of Knox, and her favorite dog Mia.


Jackie liked to knit, she made hats, blankets and gloves for the cancer center in Seneca. She was a homesteader and was proud of building her own home.  Jackie was also proud of being one of the first dancers at Joe Dimaggio’s Night Club in Georgia.


Along with her parents Jackie was preceded in death by her daughter Kellie Curci and her siblings Patrick McCann, Helen Knight, Mary Newby, Mildred Emrick Donna King and Edward Emery.


A committal service will be held for Jackquline at the Salem Lutheran Cemetery on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11 AM, with Pastor Bud Welton of the Fertig Family Church officiating.


In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to Special Olympics or the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
