James Frank Eaker

James Frank Eaker, 86, of Limestone, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Clarion Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarion.

Born on February 14, 1939, in Limestone, Jim was the son of the late Barton and Shirley Eaker.

Jim graduated from Clarion-Limestone School, after graduation he served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne.  He worked in the glass manufacturing and various other occupations.

On July 5, 1959 he married to Kathleen McEntire who preceded him in death on August 22, 2012.

Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, basketball and baseball.  He also liked working on cars and other fix it projects and loved spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his five children: Crystal Shaffer of Delaware, OH, Lorna (Douglas) Carter of Blue Ridge, VA, Jim (Kathy) Eaker II of Janesville, WI, Amber (Joel) Sicko of Wilson, NC and Paul (Sharon) Eaker of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren Katie, Joshua, Miriam, Carmella, Martha, Benjamin, Timothy, Rebekah, Naomi, Josiah, Samuel, Amie, James, Eliana and Nate; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Interment was held at the Limestone Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Jim will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Limestone.
