John Paul Mays

John Paul Mays, 81, of Knox went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2021 following an extended illness.

Born, November 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Paul and Beatrice Mays.

John married Nancy Ramsey who preceded him in death on March 2, 2021.

John graduated from Keystone High School.  He and his wife Nancy started a upholstery and furniture store which he worked at until retiring.

John was member of the Edenburg Lodge 550.

John is survived by his daughters Wendy Ann Mays of Summersville, WV and Gretchen (Eric) Wile of Knox and his grandson John David Mays of Summerville, WV.

Along with his parents John was preceded in death by his sisters Bernice Strathern and Catherine Clover.

Per John’s wishes there will be no services.
