Kenneth G. Kost

Kenneth G. Kost, 69, of  Knox passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home.

Born July 7, 1954, in Wilkinsburg, Ken was the son of the late George and Marie Kost.

Ken graduated from East Allegheny High School.  Ken served in the US Army, he worked as a foreman and heavy equipment operator for utility installation for site developments.

On July 2, 1989, Ken married Lois “Kate” Hepler who preceded him in death in 2009.

Ken enjoyed hunting, hiking, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Ken is survived by his stepson Sam Best, grandchildren Shannon Walters, Brady Walters and Justin Thompson, his brothers David Kost of Harrison City and Paul Kost of Fort Myers, FL, his brother and sisters in law Lori Hepler of Knox, Loni Hepler of Knox and Edna Riley of Callensburg and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife and parents Ken was preceded in death by a step daughter Renee Thompson and a stepson Jeffery Best.

A memorial service will be held for Ken at a later date.
