Lori Diane Janecek, 48, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 2, 2019.
Born April 14, 1971, Lori was the daughter of B. Lavier and Joyce E. Hummel.
Lori graduated from Keystone High School, Grove City College, and Butler Community College. She obtained a B.S. in Science with a Biology concentration and a B.S. in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse until the decline of her health.
Lori enjoyed spending time with her daughters, working in her garden and flower beds, and playing guitar.
She is survived by her daughters, Ashley E. Janecek of Erie and Carissa R. Janecek of State College; her parents, B. Lavier and Joyce E. Hummel of Sligo; sisters and brother-in-laws, Lisa E. Hummel/Robert J. Heichel of Knox, and Linda Y. and Ronald A. McGinley of Loxahatchee, FL.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lydia R. Janecek; her paternal and maternal grandparents, and two uncles.
A private service was held by the family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Parsh officiating.
