Mary Lou Reedy, 84, of Emlenton passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Clarion Hospital.
Born on May 22, 1940, in Sligo, Mary was the daughter of the late Dale and Martha Black.
Mary graduated from Union High School. She worked at Clarion Hospital in housekeeping.
On December 19, 1958 Mary married Russell L. Reedy who preceded her in death in 2012.
Mary belonged to the VFW and Eagles in Clarion and volunteered at Charitable Deeds. She enjoyed watching football and westerns and loved to sit outside by the fire and spend time with her family.
Mary is survived by three children; Sharon Greely and her husband Paul of Brookville, Bobbi Amato of Clarion and Suzie Wyant and her husband Buck of Sligo; a daughter in law Tammy Reedy; 15 grand-children and 18 great grand-children. She is also survived by two brothers Carl Black of Emlenton and Denny Black of Callensburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her husband and parents Mary was preceded in death by two sons Denny Reedy and Russell J. Reedy and her mother and father in law Merle and Ruth Reedy, a daughter in law Missy Reedy and son in law Richard Amato.
Private services were held by the family.
