Michael Gene Cotherman, 69, of Knox, passed away on June 1, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on September 12, 1954, in Oil City, Mike was the son of the late Charles and Glady Cotherman.
Mike graduated from Keystone High School. He farmed most of his life and worked at Penn West for 17 ½ years before retiring.
On March 25, 2006 Mike married Paula Cotherman who survives. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, wood working, helping others and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the American Legion, the St. Paul UCC Church and the Rod and Gun were spent time with good people and also enjoyed spending time with his closest friend Bob Beichner.
Along with his wife Mike is survived by his children Casey Cotherman of Knox, Brad (Brenda) Cotherman of Knox and Wes(Jayme) Hannold of Knox; his grandchildren Micheal Cotherman, Sid Cotherman, Natalie Cotherman, Kaelyn Hannold, Asher Hannold, Quentin Hannold all of Knox, Ricky Ingram and Deanna Ingram both of Monroeville; and great grandchildren Nova Ann and Roman . Also surviving are Mike’s siblings Connie (Russ) Black of Seneca, Jim (Jeanene) Cotherman of Kossuth and Tim (Carol) Cotherman of Knox.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Monday, June 3, at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn St., Knox, and 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at the St. Paul’s UCC Church, 937 Twin Church Road, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the Church with Pastor Doug Dyson officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Paul Union Cemetery.
