Nancy Diane (Horner) Cochran

Nancy Diane Cochran, 77, of Knox, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 following an extended illness.

Born February 5, 1949, in Clarion, Nancy was the daughter of the late Harold “Ducky” and Erla Horner.

Nancy was very active with her sons, with little league and boy scouts when they were young and deck hockey as they got older.  She also spent lots of time helping with meals at the Knox Volunteer Fire Co.

Nancy worked many jobs, she worked at the Knox Glass Plant then spent many years as a manager at McDonalds and Sheetz in Clarion, Uni-Mart and Quick Stop in Shippenville.

Nancy is survived by her two sons Chris (Angie) Cochran of Kossuth and Jason Cochran of Knox; her grandsons Darin (Morgan) Cochran of Knox, Gavin (Chrystal) Cochran of Oil City; and a great granddaughter Octavia Cochran.

Per Nancy’s wishes there will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial be made to the Knox Volunteer Fire Company or the Knox Area Volunteer Ambulance Company.
