Nancy Carole (Ramsey) Mays

Nancy Carole Mays, 79, of Knox went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2021 following an extended illness.

Born, January 18, 1942 in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Bessie Ramsey.

Nancy graduated from Union High School.  She continued her education at the Catholic Business School in Pittsburgh.

Nancy married John Paul Mays who survives.

Nance worked as a receptionist for her husband’s furniture store until her retirement.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and crocheting.

Along with her husband Nancy is survived by her daughters Wendy Ann Mays of Summersville, WV and Gretchen (Eric) Wile of Knox; her honorary son Chris Reichard of Shippenville; her grandson John David Mays of Summerville, WV; her brother William Ramsey of Rimersburg and her honorary brother Hugh Gray of Rimersburg.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Nancy’s wishes there will be no services.
