Ronald E. Isler, 76, of Knox, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born June 6, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ron was the son of the late Emil Isler and Sylvia Isler Tripp.
Ron graduated from Western Hills High School and Pops Art Institute in Cincinnati. He served in the Navy in Long Beach, CA, loading boats to send supplies to Vietnam.
On October 17, 1985, Ron married Betty Henry who survives.
Ron worked as a night warehouse manager at Keebler Cookies in Cincinnati, was a physical therapy technician at Broward General Medial Center, graded coins for well know dealers in South Florida, drove school bus for Keystone School District and worked for Point Security at several locations.
He was a member of the 55 Chevy Club in Orlando, he did all of the artwork for the local chapter in Fort Lauderdale. Ron studied the Hebrew language every day. He enjoyed collecting Elvis Sun Records, feeding the birds, squirrels and horses and his beagles were the loves of his life.
Along with his wife, Ron is survived by his sisters Helen Morris and Susan (Gary) Bouchard of St. Augustine, FL. and his nephews Shawn (Amanda) Morris, Jeremy (Nicole Bouchard and Matthew (Tina) Bouchard all of St. Augustine, FL. Ron enjoyed special times with his friends and family Joyce and Lee Fisher, John and Beth Henry and family and always the help of Eugene Henry. Jason Bell was a dear friend of Ron’s and was always there to help.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Sylvia and Emil, a brother Robin Isler, a nephew Christopher Antwan Wint and a great niece Makinley Rain Morris.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Interment was held at the St. Paul Union Cemetery.
In leu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the St. Paul UCC Church, the Knox Area Volunteer Ambulance Co. or the Knox Volunteer Fire Co.
