Ruth "Betty" Leuice

Ruth “Betty” Leuice, 92 of Knox, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. 

Ruth was born April 25, 1930 in Olean New York.  She was the daughter of the late William and Velma Fie.

Ruth graduated from high school and married Lee “Roy” Leuice Jr.  Ruth took great pride in keeping their home for her husband and children.  The couple had two children together, Lee Roy III and Lynn.

Ruth loved living at the Wolf’s Campground in Knox.   She has a permanent site there for many years and enjoyed all the activities that the campground offered throughout the summer.  She could often be seen zipping around the campground in her golf cart and wasn’t very happy once her sight did not let her drive anymore. 

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her grandsons Jason Leuice and Zack Washabaugh, her granddaughters Skylar Washabaugh and Shelby Leuice and a daughter in law Melissa Leuice.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Lee “Roy” Leuice Jr, her son Lee “Roy” Leuice III, and her her daughter Lynn Leuice.
