Sherry Diane Texter, 72, of Clarion, passed away at the Chicora Medical Center.


Born November 2, 1951, in Oil City, Sherry was the daughter of the late Duane and Shirley (Hoffman) Texter.


Sherry graduated from Keystone High School in 1969.  She worked as a cook on a tourist train in Alaska, worked security in an Alaskan Airport and drove school van for children with special needs.


Sherry enjoyed reading, traveling, going on car rides and drawings, she loved her pretties and spending time with her family and grandkids.


Sherry is survived by her children Laurie Smith of Freeport and Nathan (Tori) Smith of Parker; her grandchildren Drew Wideman and Quinton Smith both of New Kensington, Serena Smith, NatalieSmith, Kameryan “Kamy” Smith and Paul Briggs II all of Parker; a sister Brenda (Jerry) Wagner of Knox; a brother Steve (Laura) Texter of Knox and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.


Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Shirley Texter.


Per Sherry’s wishes there will be no public services.
