Steven Sienicki, 51, of Knox, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2018 following an extended illness due to a heart condition.
Steven was born on November 21, 1966 in Pittsburgh. He was the beloved son of Frances (Garnick) and the late Stanley J. Sienicki; beloved brother of Katherine Frescatore, Frances Sienicki, Theresa Price, Ann Marie McKay, Carol Ann Miller, Stanley J. Jr, John M., Joseph, Michael, Edward and Matthew Sienicki; loving uncle of Staus, Brad, Vince, Scott, Dafney, Lee, Leslie, Christopher, Jacklynne, Joe, Andrea, Alyssa, Meghan, Heath, Miles, Lauren (Jerod) Young and John Adams. Also surviving are cousins, uncles and aunts of the Garnick and Sienicki family; great nieces and nephews Trent, Jenna, Devin, Mason, Kenzie, Makayla and Canaan; his mother and father in law William and Christina Adams; brother and sister in law John Adams and Melissa Adams.
On December 13, 2014, Steven married Charlaine Bobbert. He was a loving husband and loyal beloved family member. He loved his furbabies Hector and Molly. Steve enjoyed cooking/grilling, nature, watching sports and current events and his pets. He also loved gardening, hiking, football, golf, the ocean and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Steve served in the US Marines. He did forest service work for the USDA and previously worked for Falcon Research & Settlement Inc.
Steven was preceded in death by his father Stanley, a brother Thomas J, Sienicki and a niece Amy Sienicki.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home, 504 East Penn St., Knox and from 10 to 11 a.m Thursday at the Chapel on the Hill, 6202 Emlenton Clintonville Rd, Emlenton. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church with Rev. Chris Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Chapel on the Hill memory of Steven.
