Eleanore C. Kenemuth Obituary

Eleanore C. Kenemuth, 83, of Ocean City, MD, formerly of Oil City, passed Friday, May 20, 2016.  Born May 31, 1932, in Knox, she was the daughter of the late Laird and Aldine Brosius Best.  Eleanore was a graduate of Ashland High School.  She worked at H & R Block, Goss Gas Co., US Corrugated Box Office and Northwest Bank.  Eleanore, her husband, and parents opened and operated the Frosty Flavor Restaurant at Cranberry for many years.  Eleanore attended church at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Kossuth and the Grace United Methodist Church in Oil City.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  On April 5, 1953 Eleanore married Richard N. Kenemuth who preceded her in death.  Eleanore is survived by two children Michael R. (Gretchen) Kenemuth of Berlin, MD and Janet M. (Russell) Nutt of Goose Creek, SC, four grandchildren Kristin Kenemuth, Lauren Kenemuth, Christopher Nutt and Susannah Nutt, a sister Wanda Palm and a brother Meredith Best.  Along with her husband and parents Eleanore was preceded in death by a sister Carol Geib.  A private family funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at the McEnitire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn Ave., Knox, with Rev.
